Guitar is something I found when I was eight or so. I was flipping through a toy catalog and came across a guitar. I circled it and hoped it would end up under the Christmas tree. Little did I know, my grandparents got it for me. I was super excited to start taking lessons. I took maybe three lessons and had to drop the instrument due to sports getting in the way.

When we moved to Upstate NY, I got back into playing and taking lessons. Learning guitar is one of the hardest thing to learn. If I had a nickel for the amount of times I wanted to bash my guitar to the ground and destroy it until there was only dust particles left, I could buy a yacht. I never practiced and was miserable, but somehow, I stuck with it. I was eventually started to practice and play tab and chords. It became a fun challenge. Then Covid-19 happened. I had to take lessons over Zoom. This is where things started to get rocky. The lessons became very stressful. I thought of any way to get out of them. I eventually told my parents that I hated having lessons and it wasn't fun anymore. Just like that I stopped playing guitar...for a year and a half. I wouldn't dare touch that stupid instrument ever again. That changed when I saw Stranger Things. I wanted to learn how to play "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush. So, I picked up the guitar and fell in love with it again. I began learning tab and chords of all kinds of songs.
